Inked: 3-star Clay-Chalkville LB D’Angelo Barber signs with Auburn

D’Angelo Barber, a 3-star linebacker at Clay Chalkville, signed his letter of intent with Auburn on Wednesday as part of National Signing Day.

Baker is already with Auburn taking part in practices with the team ahead of the Music City Bowl, according to 247Sports.

Barber is from Pinson, Alabama, and committed to Auburn in early July. He maintained his commitment to Auburn after an early September unofficial visit and took his official visit the weekend of Auburn’s end against Georgia.

He is one of three linebackers committed to Auburn’s 2024 class including four-star Demarcus Riddick, who Auburn flipped away from Georgia, as well as four-star Booker T Washington product Joe Phillips.

On the eve of signing day, Auburn’s 2024 class was ranked as the 11th best in the nation and in the top eight based on average recruit ranking.
